Combat Operations Command Report

Abstract

The month of July 1953 saw the heaviest ground fighting in the IX US Corps sector since the defeat of the enemy's Spring Offensive of 1951. This represented a continuation of the trend which had developed since April and which had resulted in limited objective attacks of increasing intensity during May and June.
