Ad Hoc Working Ground on Army Social Science Research

Abstract

The Ad Hoc committee was charged with reviewing the nature and magnitude of this social science research program, and with making recommendations about future directions that Army-supported social research might take. Specific recommendations include local and foreign areas of research; particularly, minimizing the use of deadly force, interest in constructive civilian relationships, and conflict avoidance.
