A Unified Framework for Predictive, Adaptive, Robust, and Distributed Networking for Multidomain Operations: Second-Year Report
Abstract
This report details the research efforts undertaken in the networks track during the second year of the cooperative agreement between Rice University and the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The driving vision of this project is to develop autonomous networks in order to support distributed multi-domain operations while being robust and resilient against near-peer adversaries. These cutting-edge networks have to be energy- and spectrally-efficient, self-adapting to diverse operating conditions, and secure-by-design against the new class of learning-based threats. A highlight of Year 2 was significant collaboration between DEVCOM ARL and Rice researchers, both in terms of overall engagement and publications.
