The Marine Logistics Group: How Can It Be Structured and Organized to Succeed in Both Combat and Garrison?

Abstract

Defining small units capacity and capability within the Marine Logistics Group (MLG) and returning the Direct Support Combat Logistics Regiment to Division will assist the Logistics Combat Element with its structural and organization issues. Until this is completed, the MLG will continue to shift and change structure and not resolve the issues of manpower.
