BREXIT and the End of the United Kingdom's Nuclear Deterrence

Abstract

Brexit will force the end of the UKs Trident nuclear deterrence because it will lead to a shrinking defense budget and increase popular support for Scottish independence. The loss of this nuclear capability will degrade the national security of the UK and its ability to support NATO and European Security.
