High Average Power Difference-Frequency Generation in the Mid-Infrared

Abstract

Final report describes 4 different projects undertaken during this grant. These include High average power difference frequency generation in PPLN (periodically poled lithium niobate), Near infrared Raman fibre laser systems, CSP (CdSiP2) mid-wave optical parametric amplifiers pumped by Raman fibre systems, and Novel parametric seeding architectures cascaded four and three wave mixing.
