Nomograms for Calculating Minimum Jamming Range for Ships

Abstract

Nomograms have been prepared to facilitate the calculation of the minimum jamming range for self screening of ships from enemy radars. These nomograms are based on theoretical formulas, using parameters which have been found from experimental tests. Nomograms are included for the far and near zones, and also one determining a limiting range due to the first minimum in the radiation pattern of the jamming antenna.
