ONR Short Pulse Research, Evaluation and Non-SWaP Demonstration for C-sUAS Study (OSPRES) Grant: Annual Repot 2020

Abstract

The technical objective of the ONR Short Pulse Research, Evaluation, and non-SWaP Demonstration for C-sUAS Study (OSPRES) Grant program is to execute high-risk, high-payoff efforts that address elementary gaps to achieving a modular, scalable and electronically steerable high power microwave (HPM) based defense system for the counter UAS mission, with focus on the short-pulse high-average-power space, as well as the responsivity of the target to RF stimuli, while educating the next generation of pulsed power and defense-minded scientists, engineers, and innovators.
