Low Temperature P-SOFC 300W Power Source

Abstract

The objective of the project was to take the very promising results of intermediate temperature (350 to 600C) proton-conducting solid oxide fuel cells (P-SOFCs) from lab scale results to larger, scalable cells toward the end goal of developing a high-power density generator. Results to date show great promise for various material sets based on P-SOFC technology, and show promise for fuel flexibility, long-term durability, inherent sulfur tolerance, and coking resistance.
