Charge Storage in Cathode-Ray Tubes
Abstract
The charging process in cathode-ray tubes used for static storage of information is analyzed both for a stationary spot and a linear scan, with and without redistribution o secondary electrons. Approximate equations are derived for the surface protentional and charging current as functions of time and other parameters, such a primary beam current, writing speed, and initial potentials.
