Effects of Terminal Voltage, Load Current and Minimum Rotor Speed on the Weight of D-C Aircraft Generators

Abstract

As one step toward determining the weights of the various electrical system components for an over-all system weight study, empirical equations were developed to express the relation between total generator weight and the power output for minimum rotor speed.
