Advanced EMI Sensing and Unmanned Aerial System for Subsurface Anomalies Detection and Classification

Abstract

The main objective of this interim report is threefold: 1. to model, analyze, and mitigate conducting environment electromagnetic responses that can affect the performance of advanced electromagnetic induction (EMI) sensor arrays in the marine environment. 2. to develop enhanced physically complete EMI models that will accurately account for EMI responses from marine environments, for UW targets detection and classification. 3. to demonstrate applicability of the enhanced model for UW targets classification by processing and analyzing UW data sets.
