Circuit Modifications for Complex Modulated Pulse Demodulator

Abstract

The need for a general system for the demodulation of complex pulse modulations has been felt for sometime. Such a system has been developed (NRL Report 44,63). Since the publication of this report, a considerable amount of circuit modification has been effected in the equipment therein described. Improved circuit techniques have been tested over a period of several months and have resulted in greater overall reliability. The new design for the pulse frequency demodulator circuit was considered more practical for field use; an improved frequency demodulator has been added to the existing equipment and is currently under test.
