AVIOF3 Green KHC 3 Percent Fluorine Free Foam Concentrate "Quick Look" Summary

Abstract

The purpose of the ESTCP WP20-5373 "Quick Look" summary situational reports (SITREP) are to provide periodic updates on the Naval Research Laboratory's (NRL) progress while conducting the Phase I Firefighting Performance testing that are being executed in accordance with the approved ESTCP WP20-5373 statement of work. Since this is the first ESTCP WP20-5373 SITREP, also included are some additional insights that should be kept in mind/considered when we move forward with the follow-on ESTCP WP20-5373 Phase II effort to develop a military specification for fluorine free foam (F3) products for shore-based military installations; both mobile (Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles) and fixed (aviation hangars) F3 technology applications.
