Abstract

The research objectives of this project are as follows: Identify commercially available additives for existing PFAS-free fire-fighting foams that can improve their fire-fighting ability, with an ultimate goal ofmeeting requirements in MIL-PRF-24385 Metrics for success: improved physical properties of foam-additive mixtures; improved fire suppression and burn back tests in large scale testing (28 ft2pan)
