Programmatic Environmental Assessment for Electric Vehicle Charge Facilities at Multiple Air Force Bases
Abstract
Based on the characteristics of the sites proposed for EVCF at each of the six AFBs (developed parking facilities within AFB boundaries), DAF determined there would be no significant impacts to the following resources and, therefore, dismissed these resources from detailed analysis within the PEA: water resources, geology, cultural resources, biological resources, land use, transportation, public health and safety, socioeconomics and environmental justice. Chapter 3 of the PEA discusses the affected environment and potential environmental consequences for the Proposed Action and the No Action Alternative for resources carried forward for detailed analysis based on the sites selected for EVCF at the six AFBs. An overview of the potential level of adverse effects to these resources is presented in Table 1. As shown in Table 1, implementation of the Proposed Action is not anticipated to result in significant adverse environmental impacts. Under the No Action Alternative, no changes to baseline conditions would occur.
