Test Methods for Telemetry Systems and Subsystems Volume 2: Test Methods for Telemetry Radio Frequency (RF) Subsystems
Abstract
The intent of this document is to provide commonality for testing methodology of all DoD and NASA facilities. Compliance with the test requirements in this document will eliminate confusion of testing requirements among the national test ranges and facilities. This release of the Range Commanders Council (RCC) Document 118 Volume 2 reflects the efforts undertaken by the RCC Telemetry Group Radio Frequency Systems Committee for completion of Task TG-191. The new Chapter 12 provides a test method for assessing interference to an AMT receive site from an interfering source in a system-level interference test scenario. Interference criteria in terms of signal detection degradation for the test are derived from the interference protection criteria in IRIG 106 Chapter 2. Example calculations for determining this limit are provided.
