Broadband Ferrite Toroidal Phase Shifter

Abstract

There are applications requiring nonreciprocal phase shifters with flat differential phase shift over waveguide bandwidths. The report covers the development of a X Band phaser operating over the 8.2 to 12.4 GHz bandwidth of RG 52/U waveguide. The principal emphasis is placed on the matching procedure employed since computer analysis of techniques for determining phaser dimensions for flat differential phase shift are well developed.
