Holographic Heads-Up Display for Naval Aviation Training

Abstract

This report summarizes the results of an effort to apply the technology of high efficiency holographic lens design and fabrication to the specific case of a heads-up display system for use in visual simulators for aviation training. Design methods are developed. Materials research is described. Holographic lens elements are evaluated.
