A Calculation of the High Temperature Transport Properties of Zinc.

Abstract

This document applies a Nearly Free Electron Model (NFEM) combined with a local pseudopotential approximation to the analysis of the high temperature transport properties of single crystal Zinc. Within this framework, it obtains qualitative agreement with the experimental observations of three anisotropic effects: self-electromigration, Hall effect, and diffusion thermoelectric power.
