Abstract

In this paper a model is presented of trade where individuals have differing sets of information and are able to trade in information prior to trading in commodities or contingent commodities. This paper concentrates upon modelling and the conceptual problems which must be overcome in constructing models which reflect adequately the process of trade in information.
