A Framework for Planning and Control in the Program Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to present a model of the systems acquistion process at the contractor level, emphasizing the communication flows involved between the Department of Defense Program Manager and the contractor. The model is then joined with networking to show points where the program manager can receive information on the progress of his program in terms of technical performance, schedule and cost. It is intended to provide the inexperienced program manager with a tool for setting up a planning and control system. (Author)
