Control of Corrosion in Ground Support Equipment.

Abstract

A summary of efforts to provide guidelines for control of corrosion of ground support equipment. Problem definition and 'state-of-the-art' investigations include findings of surveys of East and West Coast NAS/MCAS/CV sites. A comprehensive Corrosion Key analyzes the extensive photographic record from the survey. Data has been compiled relating to corrosion control methods, materials and equipment for inclusion in a NAVAIR manual specifically oriented for GSE. (Author)
