The Singularity Expansion Representation of the Transient Electromagnetic Coupling through a Rectangular Aperture.

Abstract

The newly developed Singularity Expansion Method (SEM) is applied to the two-dimensional problem of electromagnetic penetration through a rectangular aperture. The SEM quantities for the rectangular plate are determined from the electric field integral equation. Details on computational efficiency are described: Theoretical aspects of coupling coefficients and complex entire functions in the SEM representation are explored. (Author)
