A Study of the Electrical Properties of the Charge-Transfer Derivatives of Diaminoanthraquinones.

Abstract

Charge-transfer complexes of 1-2-diaminoanthraquinone, 1-4-diaminoanthraquinone, 1-5-diaminoanthraquinone and phenothiazine with copper(II) halides and/or iodine have been prepared and characterized by physiochemical techniques including cyclic voltametry and resistivity measurements. The conducting properties of the compounds were found to be related to the electrochemical behavior. (Author)
