Optimum Design of an Imperfect Corrugated Tower.

Abstract

The optimum design of a thin-walled corrugated tower is considered. The walls are corrugated, and have imperfections. Explicit expressions for the optimum (minimum weight) design are derived, and used to compare weight sensitivity to imperfection magnitude with strength sensitivity. (Author)
