SENET-DAX Study. Volume 1.

Abstract

The SENET-DAX study investigated the concept of an integrated voice/data switching system using time division multiplexing and dynamic channel allocation; the objectives being: (1) To analyze the feasibility of the SENET-DAX concept in terms of structure and performance characteristic. (2) To address the translation of the concept into candidate hardware and software techniques that could be used to implement the concept. The results of the analysis and techniques studies is presented in these two volumes. (Author)
