Advanced Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Oscillator Investigation.

Abstract

This report describes the results of the development, fabrication, evaluation, and test performed on Advanced Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Oscillators. The main purpose of the SAW oscillator program was the fabrication and characterization of SAW oscillators operating at 250 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1 GHz. As the data presented shows, the performance of these oscillators closely approaches or exceeds the current state-of-the-art in neary every respect.
