The Differential Scattering Cross Section for a Plasma Column in Relativistic Motion.

Abstract

Expressions are found for the differential scattering cross section of an infinitely long plasma column which has been irradiated by a plane electromagnetic wave. The propagation direction of the wave makes an arbitrary angle with the cylinder axis, and the plasma medium is allowed to move with an arbitrary velocity. (Author)
