Analysis of Observed Soil Skin Moisture Effects on Reflectance.

Abstract

A light reflectance device has been applied to various soil surfaces, and the results have been correlated to independent measurements of skin moisture content. Results show that for the configuration used moisture effects are masked by those of surface texture. Modifications are recommended. (Author)
