Locally Structured Information Systems,

Abstract

Mathematical techniques can be used to devise efficient information storage and retrieval systems that allow for quick retrieval of information pertinent to a given query. The problem of storing information in a computer has many combinatorial aspects. This paper tries to develop some efficient information storage and retrieval systems by using methods of combinatorial mathematics. Combinatorial configurations have been used for constructing filing systems.
