Electron States Near Surfaces and in Disordered Structures.

Abstract

The optical and transport properties of solids may be obtained from an accurate determination of the electron eigenstates. The three papers included in this report address themselves to the problem of obtaining such eigenstates under a variety of circumstances. (Author)
