Digital Revision Techniques.

Abstract

This report describes the feasibility of automated digital revision techniques for cartographic products. Evaluation was made of current cartographic software technology and cartographic hardware systems for utilization in automated revision processes. A software concept for automated revision as a batch editing process was designed and procedurally tested and evaluated. Conclusions reached as a result of this effort are set forth and recommendations made for further software development. (Author)
