OH-6A Tail Rotor Transmission Grease Evaluation and Fail Detection System Test.

Abstract

MCG 68-63 Grease was lab tested in the operation of two OH-6A and two OH-58A tail rotor transmissions. This may be an acceptable lubricant for this application where the transmission is filled to capacity and an increase in temperature (vs. MIL-L-23699) is not objectionable. (Author)
