Global Controllability for a Class of Bilinear Systems.

Abstract

Sufficient conditions for global controllability of a class of bilinear and nonlinear systems have been derived. These results shed some light in applying fixed-point arguments to investigate the controllability of nonlinear systems which contain unbounded nonlinearities. An interesting problem is to link the closedness of the attainable set for commutative bilinear systems with the conditions obtained here so that an explicit input function can be derived or computed through iterative schemes.
