A Theoretical Treatment of Cyclic Phenomena with Periodic Phase Discontinuities. Part I.

Abstract

It is the purpose of the present paper to determine the spectra for the outputs of the primary and of the storage units as well as for the correlator output. Although developed primarily in terms of the ARMS units the results are also applicable to the DELTIC Correlator and to other systems of this general nature. The method used for determining the correlator output is also applicable to the Sequential Matched Filter in spite of its somewhat different mode of operation.
