Applications of Matrix Methods to Radiation and Scattering Systems.

Abstract

The problem of plane-wave scattering by a homogeneous material body of revolution is considered. A solution is obtained by applying the method of moments to a coupled pair of integral equations. The quantities determined are the equivalent surface electric and magnetic currents, and the scattered far field. A general computer program is given and documented, with sample input-output data. Other reports published on this project are summarized, and recommendations are made for future work. (Author)
