Stable Adaptive Controller Design. Direct Control,

Abstract

In this paper, the adaptive control problem for the case of an unknown plant with a single input and a single output is considered. The plant is assumed to be linear and time-invariant and a differentiator-free controller is to be designed to generate a control input u(t) so that the output of the plant evolves asymptotically towards that of a given model.
