Specifications for a Solid Finite Element Data Generator.

Abstract

Specifications are given for the implementation of a solid finite element data generation capability that uses geometric information obtained from a geometry processing programm called G-PRIME. A proposed user definition format is described; the characteristics of finite element models that could be generated with this capability are discussed, and two sample problems are presented to illustrate the proposed technique.
