Abstract

The study provides a historical summary of the history of the Army Awards Program from 1973 - 1977. Identifies inequities in the Army Awards Program; recommends changes to AR 672-5-1; establishes emphasis on performance; prohibits establishment of preconditions for Department of the Army awards.
