Mathematical Models for ACV Motion in Random Seas.

Abstract

Mathematical models are developed to predict the pitch, heave and roll motion of air cushion vehicles (ACV's) as they encounter arbitrarily specified wave fields while traveling at constant speed and course. The resulting dynamic equations are solved numerically using a digital computer. (Author)
