Solar One: First Results. Part 5: The Solar-Electrical System,

Abstract

A photovoltaic conversion subsystem including electrical energy storage and power processing is described. It is shown that CdS/Cu2S solar cell arrays are useful to produce a significant fraction of the electrical energy needs of a single family dwelling and, when properly deployed and loaded, show promise for an attractive life expectancy.
