Report of Investigation of Altimeters Returned from NWSC, Crane, Indiana.

Abstract

Six units were built and tested as required and delivered for their evaluation. Testing indicated three units had problems; No. 103 had scale error -35 C out of tolerance conditions at nine test points, No. 105 had a reversed phasing arrangement on the resolver, and No. 106 had a seizure of the baro setting knob.
