MNOS BORAM Manufacturing Methods and Technology Project.

Abstract

A manufacturing methods project to establish a pilot production line for metal-nitride-oxide semiconductor (MNOS) block-oriented random-access memory (BORAM) multichip hybrid circuits has been completed. This report explains the objectives of the project and summarizes its achievements. The product involved is described, then specific accomplishments in the areas of MNOS chip fabrication, electrical testing, hybrid substrate fabrication, hybrid circuit packaging, and hybrid circuit processing are described.
