A Signal Delay Unit for TOA Direction-Finding Evaluation.

Abstract

A Signal Delay Unit (SDU) was developed to provide differentially delayed baseband signals for laboratory evaluation of an experimental Time of Arrival (TOA) direction-finding system. The SDU is a completely self-contained unit employing a tapped Bucket Brigade (BBD) delay line to realize up to four independent differential signal delays of from one to 256 microseconds. (Author)
