Abstract

The goal of this report is to present an overview of the DoD basic research program including the entire range of disciplines of interest to DoD; however, space constraints permit citing only a few specific examples. Consequently, many exciting parts of the program could not be described in detail; this should not be taken to indicate lack of interest or lower priority.
