Computer Program for Microwave GaAs MESFET Modeling.

Abstract

A computer program is described which is used to calculate the equivalent circuit element values for microwave MESFETs (metal-semiconductor field effect transistors). The input information required by the program consists of the semiconductor material parameters and the physical dimensions of the semiconductor material and metallization. The program's name is FETREN; it is fully analytical and is inexpensive to use; it is written in FORTRAN language and configured for use with the Control Data Corporation timeshare system.
