Abstract

This report provides an engineering analysis of the electrical/electronic process as it applies to the design, planning, and construction of naval ships and presents the results of the analysis in a form which will provide guidance for the development of a computer-aided electrical/electronic design and construction system (ELXDAC). This engineering analysis discusses the implementation of the electrical/electronic design in a computer-based environment. Functional descriptions of the various application programs and subsystems to be developed are included. (Author)
