Abstract

This paper covers several aspects of the Iranian society to include a brief account of the history of the reign of Mohammed Reza Pahlavi since 1941; an account of the Islamic Revolution; a survey of Iran's political system; a description of the economic system; and a brief account of Iran's foreign policy. The essay is a broad survey of the sections mentioned above. (Author)
