Multiplex Holographic Filtering Through Contact Screens.

Abstract

The basic principle of applying a specific contact screen for performing multiplex holographic filtering in a real-time coherent optical correlator is described. The specific design and fabrication of a one-dimensional and a two-dimensional gray density contact screen are described. The two-dimensional screen can yield nearly a 5 x 5 array of spectra islands in a coherent image processor. (Author)
